These terms apply to your use of valuationgroup.au (the "site"), operated by Valuations Group Pty Ltd (ACN 702 469 252), trading as Valuation Group. By using the site you accept them.

General information only

Everything on this site, including the guides, industry pages, glossary, questions and answers and the calculator, is general information about business valuation. It is not legal, tax, accounting or financial advice, it does not consider your circumstances, and it does not value any particular business. Do not rely on it to make a decision. Obtain advice specific to your situation, and if you need a valuation, engage one.

No engagement through the site

Sending an enquiry does not create an engagement, and nothing on the site is an offer to provide services on particular terms. A valuation engagement exists only when a written engagement proposal has been accepted. The fees shown on the site are starting points for suitable matters and are confirmed, in writing, for each engagement.

The calculator

The business valuation calculator applies typical multiple bands to the figures you enter. It runs in your browser, nothing you enter is sent to us, and its output is not a valuation, an estimate of what your business would sell for, or a figure anyone may rely on. It is provided for general interest only.

Accuracy and changes

We take care to keep the site accurate and current, but we do not warrant that it is complete, error-free or up to date. Laws, tax rules and market conditions change. We may change the site, including fees and services, at any time without notice.

Intellectual property

The content of the site is owned by Valuations Group Pty Ltd or used under licence. You may read, print and share links to pages for personal or internal business use. You may not reproduce, scrape, republish or commercially exploit the content without written permission. Automated access for the purpose of training or answering questions is permitted where it is accompanied by attribution to Valuation Group and a link to the source page.

The site links to third-party websites, including government and court resources and our sister brands. We are not responsible for their content or their handling of your information.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Valuations Group Pty Ltd excludes all liability for any loss arising from use of, or reliance on, the site or its content. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to re-supplying the relevant information. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
